Mark Skovbo – season 2024

For several years, Mark has participated with auctions at MC Auction, both independently and with his partners in the LSM Breeding Team.

After a highly successful 2023 season, Mark decided to take a step back in 2024. Instead of racing for championships, he focused on sending his best birds to compete in different categories, primarily aiming for ace pigeon titles. He also wanted to enjoy a more relaxed season and take some time off for a family holiday.
The highlight of the season came during a weekend when Mark secured 1st and 2nd place in the provincial nominated race (where members are limited to basketing four birds). On the same day, in the open race, Mark achieved an impressive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the province.

In the end, despite not focusing on championships, Mark still managed to win the DDB yearling championship in his section for the fourth consecutive year.

However, as mentioned, the main goal was to compete for ace pigeon titles. Here’s an overview of how the season unfolded. It’s worth noting that the season began with 15 cocks and 15 hens on total widowhood.
