Team Morel – 2. National Pre-Olympic Pigeon Sport G, Brno 2020
Morel Team – is Bartosz & Monika Morel with daughters, Zosia and Alicja.
We race and breed pigeons in Silesia region in Poland, the biggest pigeon province in Poland, and probably in all of Europe (around 10.000 members). In whole Poland we have registered 45.000 pigeon-fanciers!
Bartosz Morel has had pigeons his whole life, his father and grandfather were also pigeon fanciers. From 2011 we have worked professional with pigeons in Morel Team. From 2011 to 2014 we invested a lot of money in the best pigeons-families from Holland, Belgium and Germany, but we focused only at the OLR’s. In 2015 we were back to race in Poland, but only with youngster, but we did it with spectacular results! In 2015-2017 we won lot of races in impressing style!
In 2018 we change location to a new place, and we build new lofts. And we started again, but this time we planned to race youngsters and old pigeons every year. 2018 was not easy because we got a little postponed in the beginning of the season, so we bred only 50 youngsters for our own to race-team – but we had a very good season.
In 2019 we started racing-season for old pigeons with only 28 yearlings – the smallest team in our club – Zagłębie (with around 140 fanciers) but week by week our results were better and better – and we finished season with many top awards! Biggest success in 2019 – with old pigeons – was our PANAMERA – she won:

She is small blue hen, with strong back, regular muscles, well-balanced, long wing and flights, very soft feathers and closed ventbones.
She flew 11 weeks in a row, making 10 prices (1/5) – only first shortdistance from 120 km she did not score.
When we look at her pedigree, we see super lines from pigeons like:

– GRIZZLE GOD, Ivo Renders,
– CHAMPION, Chris Hebberecht,
– EXTREEM, Marcel Wouters,
But she was not the only good pigeon for us! We had several top-pigeons from these bloodlines with topresults. Great example is PL-0493-19-10043 – small blue hen (her mother and mother of PANAMERA are full-sisters) She flew in 2019 as youngster 6 prizes on 6 races with 27,07 coeff and result in category Sport F 4,34 coeff! What make her Pre-Olympic Candidate to Brno 2020 !!
