Team Eriksson-PO

This team is 3 men – Bo, Mogens and Preben. Each has his role in the team. Bo is the daily caretaker, supported by Mogens who helps with the youngsters and trainings. Preben is also participating in the daily work with the pigeons while he is also the webmaster.

The loft is at the island Fyn so the pigeons have to pass water about 60-70 km to be in top of the races. It is not easy to find the right type to do this which is demanded to win here.

They have a dream to win on the long distances. In 2021 and 2022 where they had full focus they achieved this goal.
In 2021 they were 2. National Longdistance, 3. National Marathon plus a national winner from Hof.
In 2022 they were 1. Provincial Bad Hersfeld, 1. National and 2. National from Rouen plus 3. National Marathon and 2. Champion National Cup.
Again in 2023 they won National Cup below 2.750 km on the 3 national marathons plus 8. National Marathon.
In 2024 they achieved topresults for the National Championships:
1. Prince Henrik Cup, 2. National Championship Marathon, 2. National Championship Longdistance, 2. Super Cup and 2. National Cup.

Team Eriksson has always tried to get the best breeding material – origins with national and international topprizes – to have the best results on the loft.
At this moment the main line are the origins from Verweij-De Haan in Holland.
In addition the old lines from Verstraete, the Gold Couple and Jos Thoné. The old red line from 3426 is also still going strong – still in 2024 he is sire to a 1. Prov. winner from Antwerp and the winner of Prince Henrik Cup.

The new investments are pigeons from the new Dutch talent Sil Van Vliet. He has been very good on the longdistance and marathon races the recent years – and in 2024 he was 1. National Barcelona 2024 and ZLU Champion in 2023.
Some of the new breeding pigeons for Team Eriksson are SIL FIGHTER and SILLY – from the ELFPENNER origins – a topbreeder for Sil Van Vliet.
