Manuel Silva Sousa

Manuel Silva Sousa is 62 years old and has been a pigeon fancier for over 30 years. It was his brother who passed on the passion to him and to this day the pigeon loft is managed as a family.
In addition to Manuel, his brother Antônio, his brother Inocêncio, his brother-in-law Armindo, and his nephew Márcio share the love for pigeon racing and the desire to be the bests!

In 2023 one of the superstars on the loft – RUBY – became the fastest pigeon in the world as 1. FCI World Best Pigeon Speed 2023.
Together with a sister he was sold to Gebr. Herbots – and RUBY immediately bred a new superstar – FRAN: 3. National Acepigeon GMD KBDB 2025.
Now RUBY and his sister are famous pigeons in China!
